This edition of the Mensa philosophica strengthens the case for the Dominican origin of the work. As the colophon states, this edition was printed at the Dominican convent in Cologne: "Printed at the house of the Preachers by me, Cornelius of Zyrickzee of the University of Cologne". Emblems with the shield of the city of Cologne are printed on the verso of the title page and on the last verso of the book. Cornelius of Zyrickzee printed this work a year earlier in 1507.
