This book contains a collection of letters of Catherine of Siena (1347-80), who was a member of the Sisters of Penitence of St. Dominic, a third order affiliated with the Order of Preachers. The manuscript was copied by several hands in typical Italian cursive book scripts; there is no decoration or rubrication.
