Sebastianus Foxius Morzillus. De Regni, Regis Quae Institutione libri tres. Antverpiae: Apud Ioannem Latium, 1566. Fox Morcillo was a Spanish philosopher who studied at the universities in Seville, Alcalá and Louvain (Belgium). He wrote literary treatises on the writing of history as well as commentaries on Plato, Aristotle and political matters. The work on display is a philosophical discussion on kingship rather than a history on individual kings. |
