The Life, Office and Mass of St. Antoninus of Florence, O.P. (†1459; feastday 10 May; see catalogue n° 27) were composed by Vincent Mainard of St. Geminiano, O.P. (†1527), who was a friar at the convent of S. Marco in Florence. This is a revised edition of one printed in 1525, adding musical notation and notes by another Dominican friar, Hieronymus Pomerius, who in 1528 received his license at the Sorbonne. The title page bears an image of the Archbishop, and a user's inscription: "Frater Sebastianus de Magnale. Nunc 1535." The press of Des Bois and his associates, like the press of the Petit family (see catalogue n° 19, n° 49, n° 59, and n° 61), was in "the neighborhood" of the ancient Dominican convent of St. Jacques.
