Iuan Luys Vives. Introduction a la Sabiduria. Translated from the Latin by Diego de Astudillo. Anuers: Iuan Steelsio, 1551.

Juan Luis Vives was an influential Spanish humanist, and philosopher. This work is an introduction to "wisdom", which referred to theological knowledge (sapientia) as opposed to scientific or worldly knowledge (scientia). At the end of work are two dialogues by Plutarch on Anger and on Marriage. The original Latin version was published together with two other treatises, Satellitium and De Ratione, in Basilea: officina Roberti Winter, 1539. The first Spanish translation, made by Cervantes de Salazar, was published in Seville by Dominico de Robertis (1544).
